Since the pandemic hit, whenever we hear the phrase PPE equipment, most of us probably immediately think of hand sanitisers, face masks, medical gowns and rubber gloves as the products that are used to save lives and prevent transmission of contagious diseases. Hence, we often take for granted some of the other life saving products we have the opportunity to benefit from.
The rigorous quality and safety checks that take place prior to sale of all forms of PPE equipment are vital. The ability to recognise and immediately recall products that may be flawed undoubtedly ensure we can minimalise tragic accidents and save lives.
Hazard: The products do not meet the requirements of the relevant regulations and show no demonstration of having been conformity assessed.
